I hoped to capture playfulness, making the AO tennis courts synonomous with Australian summer; lifeguard umpire, players in the pool and onlookers lounging by the side.

The Australian Open tries to capture ideas of fun, playfulness, summer and excitement as key themes in promoting their event. I tried to capture the same energy in my concept poster illustrating a tennis court as a pool and using the term ‘courtside’ to play on this idea.
